Before 1927, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine didn’t have independent structural organisation and existed within the Medical Faculty of University of Warsaw.
In 1927 the Council of Medical Faculty established a separate, independent Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Warsaw. Primarily, our faculty was located in Grochów district, and continued its educational function there until 1952, when it separated from University of Warsaw entirely and became a part of WULS – Warsaw University of Life Sciences instead, and as such, was relocated to Ursynów district.
History of Scientific Circle of Veterinary Students dates back to 1927. There were several periods of suspended activity – e.g. 1939-1945 and 1953-1956.
